Independent Contractor Description:

1. Independent contractors are scheduled based on their availability and the needs of Carolina Maids.
2. Independent contractors will provide their own transportation, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the required services.
3. Independent contractors are not employees.
4. Independent contractors are paid based on the job and are not salaried or hourly employees.
5. Independent contractor is responsible for their own Federal & State income taxes, any disability (workers comp) and unemployment insurance they wish to have.
6. Independent contractors are provided a 1099 at years end of all monies paid to the independent contractor.
